Blogging Basics - Day School
Course Date: 27 September 2012
Course No.: 112.1197 | Course Tutors: Clare Mackintosh
Full course description:
The Blogging Basics course introduces the concept of blogging – diary-keeping on the internet – and takes you through the process of setting up your very own blog. We’ll discuss niche areas in which you might like to write, such as gardening, food or travel, and consider the merits of blogging anonymously. You’ll soon have your blog up and running and the afternoon will be a hands-on session in which you’ll learn how to update your site, how to add images to posts, and how to create great content.
A lively, interactive course for anyone who would like a wider audience for their writing, photos or recipes. Basic IT skills (word processing and internet) are required, and students will need an email address. Students who are already blogging but would like to increase their knowledge will also benefit from this course.
