The Vegetable Bakery

Course dates: 27 July 2015 - 29 July 2015

Everybody knows that carrots are wonderful in cake, but you may be surprised at what other vegetables can liven up your baking. Many of these cakes use less sugar and some are gluten free. You'll make chocolate beetroot and raspberry cake, zucchini carrot and pear, tropical parsnip and polenta, and pomegranate, aubergine and rose party cake.

WI Guide to Patisserie

This patisserie course will cover many of the classics of French pastry work, including sweet shortcrust and choux pastry that can be used to make wonderful tartlets and éclairs.
