A combination of physical activities with moments of relaxation and recreation:

Exercise Workouts – exercising for all round fitness at your own level, in a friendly and sociable atmosphere.

Talks/Discussion/Workshop – possible topics may be the importance of good posture, healthy eating, stress management, osteoporosis. If there is another topic you would like to cover, please let the tutor know and she will come prepared.

Rambles – Two rambles, each of about four miles. On one ramble we will explore the countryside along the Thames and on the other we will be walking on the Ridgeway and admiring the views.

Line Dancing/Country Dancing – Don’t worry if this is your first time! If you have danced before, we’ll find some new dances for you to try.

Massage – a well deserved basic shoulder massage in pairs.

Relaxation – enjoy!

Please be aware that massage, relaxation and meditation involved in many complementary therapies can make you feel emotional.

It is essential that students are fit enough to cover the distances specified. Walks may involve climbing stiles, negotiating rough ground etc. Please contact your tutor before the course to discuss in confidence any significant medical condition you have.
