Carving a swathe through north London, the Regent's Canal was once an important industrial waterway. Today, it is a recreational path, passing through some of London's trendiest suburbs, but traces of its rich history remain. In this one-hour talk, Simon will explore the opening stretch of the canal, starting near Paddington...making occasional diversions off into the surrounding areas (as he is wont to do!).
This talk is a repeat of Simon's lecture from Autumn 2020, for those who missed it, or who just fancy coming along again!
