A break away packed with workshops, and entertainment to learn a selection of new skills in the stunning environs of Denman. This break includes three workshops (of your choice, subject to availabilty) with all materials or ingredients, two nights of accommodation, an interactive talk with Q&A " From Action Man to The University Centre Somerset- a Life in Fashion" on the Monday night, Tuesday night entertainment, breakfast, lunch and three-course dinners.

Janine Kilroe - Decoupage Decoupage comes from the French verb ‘to cut out’. It is a very accessible, fun, relaxing and a creative craft for beginner and dabblers. Decoupage can be used to personalize almost any item in your home.
Louise Simmonds - Fine Silver Pendant using Silver Clay This is a really exciting and creative form of Jewellery making using Silver Clay, which is a precious metal with a Silver content of 99.9% - a higher purity value than Sterling Silver. You will use a mould to make an intricate Silver replica choosing from a range of items such as decorative charms, shells etc, which will be fired, polished and finished ready for you to take home!
Karen Jones - Stained Glass Mosaic Coasters Learn how to cut stained glass to a template pattern, and then glue it into place. You will fill in the remainder of your mosaic with small glass pieces, incorporating a few of your own design elements.
Jill Arthur - Baking Join Jill to fine tune your baking skills by making savoury cheese muffins and mincemeat frangipane tarts to take home and enjoy! Please bring your own apron and 2 tupperwares/boxes/tins to bring home your creations. You will not need to bring freezer blocks for this course.
Gary Mills - Laminated Stitches A contemporary textile workshop which offers the opportunity to produce beautiful and colourful innovative textiles using traditional and non-traditional approaches to decorative stitch combined with the plastic pouch laminator.
Marilyn Pipe - Hot Beaded Corsages Using a simple technique and a hot glue gun or hair drier colourful corsages can be made in minutes, to decorate hats, bags or simply to adorn a gift.
