Special Event: The Alchemy of Food with Kumud Gandhi
WI Member: From £42.00
Non Member: From £47.00
In this afternoon session with author and food scientist Kumud Gandhi, you will discuss the relationship between the chemistry in every day ingredients and how they affect your body.
This thought provoking session, with audience participation, will look at why we eat what we wat, how food has evolved, and how our food habits have changed over time.
A lovely range of herbs and spices will be used to illustrate common misconceptions and how they are used in modern medicine and cuisine. Kumud will show you how simple ingredients, when blended together, can create the most wonderful flavours.
Join us at Denman and get ready to change your perception of diets and food, and go home with a sense of knowing how to improve quality of life and wellbeing.
Kumud Ghandi founded The Cooking Academy in 2008, which is dedicated to bringing “wellbeing to the workplace”. She also is a regular contributor to radio and television as well as writing for The Times, Telegraph, Mental Health Magazine and many BBC food programmes.
