Welcome to our new ‘Denman On Demand’ courses, where you can tune into pre recorded demonstrations & talks at a time which suits you! This class will be available to view for 7 days after purchase.
Join Sue for this fun demonstration, which will show you how to make and assemble a needle felted fox.
Materials Needed:
Blue foam mat about 20cm square. Should be 4-5cm deep. Available on-line or from a local upholsterer
Felting needles – triangular 36 gauge steel needles
Star 38 gauge steel needles
Optional: wooden three needle holder
30cm pipe cleaners approx. 8
A tube of Uhu or Bostik all purpose glue
Black glass beads about 8mm for eyes
Polyester fibrefill high loft from World of wool or local craft shop (not kapok or foam pieces)
Scandinavian wool batts in foxy colours, fox red, black and white. Norwegian Wool is good for this. Merino wool is too fine, Scandinavian wool has more crimp and is better for needle felting.
