In this hour-long taster session, Elaine will lead you through this class which is a fusion of Qigong (like Tai Chi), Yoga and Pilates, carefully designed so that you can stretch out tight muscles, build some core strength and enjoy some lovely flowing movements combined with the breath. Finishing with a guided relaxation, you’ll feel energised yet relaxed, the perfect way to unwind!
The classes will include sitting, laying, kneeling and standing so you do need to be able to get up from/down to the floor unaided.
You wear normal, loose clothing that you can move around in comfortably. Soft soled shoes are a good idea for the qigong aspects of the session and then going barefoot is recommended for the yoga and pilates parts. Using a Yoga or non slip mat is advised during the session.
