Join Geoff as he explores one of Charles Dickens’s most critically acclaimed and popular novels; ‘Great Expectations’. The tale of Pip, an orphan navigating a complex world full of extreme imagery, themes, motives and stark comparisons; including wealth & poverty, love & rejection and good vs evil. During the course of the novel, Pip comes to realize that his “great expectations”—social standing and wealth—are less important than loyalty and compassion through the interesting characters and relationships he builds over the course of the novel.
