The city of Rome has had its ups and down, growing with the Roman Empire and falling into decline at its end until what remained was nothing much more than a grimy little village. And then it rose up again in the Renaissance to become the bustling city that it is today.

We’ll take a walk together through the most impressive remains of that history, but also have a good look at what represents modern Rome.
