A weekend packed with workshops, fun and entertainment so bring friends and family. Come on you own or bring a group with you. Learn a selection of new skills in the stunning environs of Denman and spend some quality time with your nearest and dearest. This includes three workshops with all materials or ingredients, two nights of accommodation, a demonstration on the Friday night, Saturday night entertainment, breakfast, lunch and three-course dinners.

Christine Pearce Flower Arranging In this workshop we will be making a floral arrangement to enhance your home. The design will be floral foam free and we will therefore be making our own structure to support the flowers. This workshop will be for all abilities and will include using beautiful garden plant materials and seasonal flowers. Come along to this workshop and learn all about conditioning fresh plant materials, the elements and principles of design, floral crafts and above all have a fun time.
Michelle Parkinson Restorative Yoga - I guess it could start with a 20 minute intro to Nadis and TCM, the differences, and what Yin/restorative yoga is. This would be followed by some simple breathing practices to clear the energy channels and allow for grounding, followed by the Yin yoga poses to release - Break - Then back to full yoga session with guided relaxation and meditation at the end.
Jane Lappage Calligraphy Brush Letter Modern Calligraphy – a quick insight into brush lettering, creating a glitter card. You will have seen this on trend script everywhere. The beauty of learning this script is it is easier to master and personalise, making it unique to you. You will be using a paintbrush which is perfect for left handers too In the short time we have you will practise the skills in this script, gain confidence and create a card using your paintbrush and loads of lovely GLITTER!
Jill Arthur Baking It’s the time of year for tennis, motorsport and cricket. It’s also the ideal time for English strawberries. So make some goodies to have whilst watching the summer sports.Join Jill and make strawberry shortcake, roulade and scones, yummy
Holly Jones Indian Block Printing Learn all the different techniques you need to know when printing onto paper & fabric using hand carved Indian Printing Blocks, test out a range of designs & colours and then use this knowledge to print a selection of fabric and paper items. You’ll leave with a handful of beautiful block printed goodies and the confidence to carry on printing at home! The class will start with a full and detailed demonstration on how to block print. Then you can rummage through our large selection of printing blocks, and selecting a mixture of designs which you would like to use. Once you’ve chosen your selection we then start printing onto practice fabric, perfecting your printing. After that you will print a tea towel and tote bag then moving onto cards and tags.
Natalie Griffin Lantern Making A fun crafty course where you will make a set of 3 beautiful lanterns using your choice of fabric. The lanterns use battery operated tea lights giving the effect of a flame, delivering unique mood lighting for all occasions without the risk of fire, mess or fumes! This workshop gives everyone the chance to take something personal and handmade away whilst learning a different crafting skill
