Join us online to learn how to freehand machine embroider. This course covers all of the very basic nuts and bolts of how to go about this versatile and addictive craft. We will cover all of the equipment, the set up, initial simple techniques and anything else in-between to create freemotion embroidery. The aim of the course is to provide all the information needed as well as the confidence for you to begin drawing with your sewing machine.
Equipment Required To Sew Along:
Sewing Machine (With the ability to drop the feed dogs)
Darning or Embroidery Foot suitable for your machine
Medium Sized Wooden Embroidery Hoop
Full Bobbin (Same colour as top thread)
Fabric scraps (Minimum Size in any direction 20x20cm)
Stabiliser a.k.a. Bonderweb, embroidery backing
Preferably use a heavy weight cotton or polyester mix in a plain colour.
Preferably use a thread that is a strong contrast colour to your fabric so it easier to see your stitches.
