The third part of Claire's sewing machine skills course will explore some of the different foot attachments on your sewing machine and what they can do to expand your range of sewing skills and the type of projects and finishes you can achieve.
The session will cover 4 more useful techniques: Blind hemming, using a walking foot for quilting and working on thick layers, using an embroidery foot for free motion work and tips for sewing on ‘sticky’ fabrics such as oilcloth, faux leather and PVC.
You don’t need any materials for this one, unless you would like to have a go at one or more of the techniques during the class (if so, have some scrap fabric to practise on), but it would be useful to have your sewing machine, manual and bag of accessories handy so that you can identify the attachments and stitch selections on your own machine.
Information document and Zoom log in details will be included at the bottom of your confirmation email after you have registered.
