Elaine is delighted to offer you a 4 part Qigong course running on 4 consecutive Mondays at 11:30am from 30th November 2020 - 21st December 2020.
Qigong is similar to Tai Chi - slow, gentle, standing movements to ease tension from body and mind. Co-ordinated with the breath, the movements are formed into sequences, so that you can become totally immersed in what you are doing - giving you 'mental space' from the busyness of life. Elaine starts and finishes her classes with some breath work done seated in a chair, and also some short meditations. You'll leave this taster session feeling refreshed and calm ready to enjoy the rest of your day. You wear normal, loose clothing that you can move around in comfortably. Soft soled shoes are a good idea so that you can feel the floor beneath your feet (or you may choose to be barefoot). No mat or any other equipment is needed.
Zoom log in details will be included at the bottom of your confirmation email after you have registered. A health questionnaire will be attached to your confirmation email after booking which must be completed and sent to Elaine prior to you being able to attend this session due to insurance purposes. (If you have already attended Elaine's taster Yoga, 6-Part Yoga sessions or the taster of Qigong and you have already completed the form and returned it, then you are not required to fill it in again.)
