In this talk, Simon will explore some of the history of the Czech Republic in the twentieth century through the eyes of one family. From the First World War, through the interwar years and the German invasion, and on into the Cold War, we will use the experiences of one small family to trace the changing tides of history in the remarkable city of Prague, and beyond.
